We would like to update you on our approach to the unfolding COVID-19 virus, more commonly known as Coronavirus. The safety of our members, staff and partners is our top priority, and we wanted to assure you that our strategy is based on the guidelines set out by the government & PHE (Public Health England).

As we continue to follow government guidelines Life Leisure facilities, services and programmes continue to run as normal. We are receiving daily updates from SMBC, the government and Public Health. The executive management team meet daily to discuss the guidance and if there are any changes these will be communicated to all customers. Along with updates there will be a Q & A sheet to answer any questions and/or concerns you may have on the current situation and the status of the operations across the lifeLEISURE estate.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding during this time. As a not for profit social enterprise company and registered charity the support of our members and customers is paramount and enables lifeLEISURE to continue to offer services to the community, not only through memberships but to offer services for those individuals out in the community.

The income that is generated through our members and customers enables lifeLEISURE, not only to offer memberships, swimming lessons, group exercise classes, family sessions, sporting activities etc… but schemes such as:

  • Engagement activities for individuals with long-term health conditions, providing physically active and socially engaging programmes for residents who cannot access mainstream activity.
  • Targeted sport and physical activity provision for inactive adults that provides a pathway to improved health and wellbeing through socially engaging activities.
  • Youth engagement programmes designed to support and develop the aspirations of young people

lifeLEISURE provide the local community of all ages and abilities with everything they need to keep them engaged in a healthy active lifestyle whether that be within our centres or out in the community.
